A new journey begins in the new year. On February 3, 2023, Slkor held its first sales training session. Under the organization of the General Manager, Mr. Song Shiqiang, the company invited Mr. Franky (Hu Shenghua), the Gold Medal Lecturer at the Huaqiang Lecture Hall in Huaqiangbei, to conduct a professional sales training for the sales department colleagues in Slkor's conference room. As the new journey of the Year of the Rabbit is about to kick off, this training session boosted the confidence of the sales staff, enhanced their skills, and gained traction with Slkor’s (www.slkormicro.com) efforts in 2023.

As a good friend of Mr. Song Shiqiang (General Manager of Slkor) for many years, Mr. Franky is a Gold Medal Lecturer at the Huaqiang Lecture Hall in Huaqiangbei as well as an angel investor, Founder of Minying, and an expert in overseas asset allocation. He came to share his story of becoming a successful salesman.
From a Rookie to a Sales Champion - Sales Training Session
The training was divided into two parts – lecture and discussion. With the theme "From a Rookie to a Sales Champion", Mr. Franky vividly explained what sales is, how to invite customers, how to make customers remember you, and so on, and explained them one by one with clear examples. For the SCRs, rectifier bridges, Schottky diodes, ESD protection diodes, TVS diodes, general purpose diodes and transistors, power management ICs, Hall sensors, and many more, you need to understand the product characteristics and know the market demand in order to provide the right product for the customer and in turn, become a consultant for that customer.

Mr. Franky emphasized that everyone is a sales champion. The key to venturing from a sales rookie to a sales champion is to inspire your inner strength. Those who are new to sales always have dreams of becoming a sales champion. But the vast majority of them are often worn out by the frustrations of work and life. Inner strength is like a huge treasure that many people do not know how to explore and unlock its potential. However, with today's training, we have changed our understanding of sales and learned the core competencies that a successful salesperson should have, which will help us better perform our sales work in the future.

In the training room, the word ‘empathy’ was used throughout the process. Mr. Franky said, "Sales is not only a profession, but also a way of thinking and an art of interacting with people. This requires empathy. We will provide what customers care about.
